HUSE CULINARY TO OPEN NEW RESTAURANT AT INDIANAPOLIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
New concept brings taste of 1933 Lounge and HC Tavern + Kitchen to travelers
INDIANAPOLIS – Huse Culinary, the upscale restaurant group behind Indiana’s iconic St. Elmo
Steak House will open a new concept in Concourse B at the Indianapolis International Airport on Friday, April 11. 1933 Lounge + HC Tavern by St. Elmo will blend elements of two popular brands – 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo and The HC Tavern + Kitchen – offering travelers a premium dining experience.
“Indianapolis International Airport’s reputation as one of the best in the country makes it the perfect place to expand our presence,” said Craig Huse, CEO of Huse Culinary. “1933 Lounge + HC Tavern by St. Elmo will bring Hoosier hospitality to travelers, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a menu that blends 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo’s signature flavors with the approachable favorites of HC Tavern + Kitchen.”
The new restaurant features highlights from both restaurant menus, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, grab and go options and a full bar. Patrons can expect signature items including St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster “Cargot”, filet mignon, ribeye and filet sliders. The 5,238-square-foot space seats 189 guests, providing ample room for both relaxed pre-flight cocktails and full-service dining.
The upscale concept is a blend of an elevated cocktail lounge and a modern American grill. One side of the restaurant is ideal for relaxing with a cocktail before a flight, while the other offers a more traditional dining experience with elegant booths and tables the whole family can enjoy.
“We’re delighted to expand our footprint at the Indianapolis International Airport with the 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo and the HC Tavern + Kitchen,” said Bob Stanton, senior vice president of business development for SSP America. “Working with IAA and the Huse Culinary team to bring this concept to life has been a rewarding experience, and we look forward to offering a new taste of place to Hoosiers and visitors alike.”
1933 Lounge + HC Tavern by St. Elmo will create 85 jobs. Travelers can now enjoy the best of Huse Culinary across the Indianapolis International Airport, with Harry & Izzy’s located in Concourse A and the newly opened 1933 Lounge + HC Tavern by St. Elmo in Concourse B.
The restaurant will be open daily from 5 a.m. – 9 p.m. For more information about 1933 Lounge + HC Tavern by St. Elmo, visit 1933Lounge.com/Ind-Airport.
