INDIANAPOLIS — 13 years ago, the NFL Super Bowl called Indianapolis home, solidifying the Circle City as a premiere place to host a sporting event and setting a standard for future Super Bowl host cities.
“It was just people as far as you could see in both directions, everyone had a smile on their face,” said Bryn Jones, the Vice President of Marketing at Huse Culinary and St. Elmo Steak House.
A picture still proudly hangs on the wall at St. Elmo, showing a crowd of hundreds of football fans crowding the entrance to the restaurant during Super Bowl week.
“It would’ve looked like a parade but the parade wasn’t moving,” said Jones.
Jones said the week is burned into the memories of the staff at the popular restaurant, especially because of the star power that comes through.
”You had guys like Neil Patrick Harris, Shaq and Jimmy Fallon,” Jones.
